This page is dedicated to the genealogy of the Lirette/Lerette/Lorette/Laurette family that began in New Brunswick, Canada in the 1780s.

This site represents a summary of over 20 years of research into the Lirette (and variant spellings) name, beginning with Joseph Lirette and Marguerite Gueguen of New Brunswick, Canada. Out of consideration of the privacy of individuals still living, information on individuals who might still be living is supressed. Much of this information is taken from my published work on the Lirettes, but contains more recent information (the original work being published in 1993). My hope is that this will provide researchers of the Lirette name with some helpful information.
